Possum Puzzles has no accounts, no ads and no tracking across other apps or websites. It collects two small things, so it can be fixed when it breaks and improved where people get stuck.
What the app collects
Crash reports, through Google's Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes, it sends a report: what went wrong in the code, the app and iOS versions, the device model, and a random installation ID that isn't linked to you. It's used only to find and fix bugs.
Anonymous usage signals, through TelemetryDeck. The app sends small events such as "a puzzle was opened", "a puzzle was solved", "a hint was used" or "asked for more puzzles", with the puzzle and difficulty. TelemetryDeck replaces any identifier with a one-way hash on your device, so the signals can't be traced back to you. They're used only to count things, for example how many people reach the harder puzzles.
Neither is linked to your identity, used for advertising, or sold.
What stays on your iPhone
Your progress (solved and in-progress puzzles) and your settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them, and Settings → Reset all progress clears them.
What the app doesn't collect
No name, email address, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifier. The app never asks for any of these.
Purchases
If puzzle packs are sold in the app later, Apple handles the payment. The app only learns whether a pack is unlocked, never your payment details.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
You can stop all of it by deleting the app. To ask about any of this, or to ask for data to be deleted, email support@possumpuzzles.com. Because nothing is linked to you, there's usually nothing that identifies you to delete.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
